Caring For Your Lash Extensions

  • Your eyelash extensions are comprised of a synthetic lash glued to your natural lash. Pulling out an extension can cause damage to your natural lash causing bald spots
  • Care should be taken to avoid sleeping on our lashes, rubbing them, or pulling on them.
  • Avoid getting them wet for the first 24 hours
  • Avoid steam facials, hot showers, saunas, steam rooms as these can weaken the adhesive.
  • Blow drying or excessive heat (from cooking or lighting cigarettes) can cause the lash curl to straighten or the ends to burn/melt
  • Oils from your skin will weaken the bond of the adhesive and cause your extensions to loosen and fall off. Be sure to clean your extensions daily with lash cleaner made for eyelash extensions (baby shampoo works great)
  • Do not use oil based makeup removers or waterproof mascara. Do not get face creams, lotions, or eye serums on your lashes.(if contact occurs, clean with oil free cleanser or extension cleanser)
  • Clean GENTLY
  • Do not use lash crimpers or curlers as they will damage your extensions.
  • Natural eyelashes fall out approximately every 3 weeks on their own as a part of their life cycle, as your lashes complete their cycle and fall out you will need to add new extensions to maintain a full set (4-6 weeks).
  • As your natural eyelashes grow your extensions may begin to twist and face different directions. Be sure to brush your lashes (brush provided) to help keep them straight. If you cannot get a lash back into place it may need to be removed.
